Will conservative Kansas vote out its conservative governor, Sam Brownback? – Washington Post

The seat for Kansas governor is being hotly contested this fall. The gubernatorial race has drawn national attention because of the high stakes and potential policy implications for both parties. KU political science professor Burdett Loomis weighed in on the race. Loomis observes that while both in Kansas and nationally the 2010 election mostly favored the Republican party, policy makers need to correctly read which issues weighed most heavily on those victories. ​
