Tuesday, August 27, 2013

Gregory Rudnick, professor of astronomy at the University of Kansas, is part of a plan to look deeper into space than ever in history. As part of a project between the Department of Energy and the National Science Foundation, Rudnick and other scientists will create an extensive 3D map of the universe.

Rudnick said the map is unparalleled, providing much more information and detail than any previous effort. Learn more about the project from the Lawrence Journal World.
