Monday, November 12, 2012

Michael Scheibach is an expert in the Atomic Age, from the late 1940s through the 1960s, and earned a doctorate in American Studies from the University of Kansas. His collection of photographs and objects from high schools during this time when most Americans believed nuclear war was likely is on display at the Kansas City Public Library's Central Branch until January.

The Kansas City Star interviewed Scheibach on his collection, the Atomic Age and how it affected America. Read the interview here.
