Marcia Powers heads the Decision Analytics team for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She is responsible for data analysis for the Office of the Dean, as well as coordinating reports from official university data sources across the College. Her responsibilities also include enrollment (course) management for new student orientation and space management/analysis for the College.

Before joining the College in 2004, Marcia worked at the KU Medical Center. There, beginning in 1998, she worked in Faculty Affairs and as a research analyst in the Department of Planning and Analysis. Marcia earned a BA in anthropology and a BS in life sciences from Kansas State University, and a MA in anthropology from SUNY Binghamton
