Shelly is a Retention Advisor in the Student Academic Services Office for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Her responsibilities include advising students who are experiencing academic difficulty and developing retention initiatives.  Shelly works with probation, dismissal, and readmission students to help them reach their academic goals. Shelly graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Administration of Justice and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. She has been working in higher education for eleven years.
