Katie Rockey is a Senior Academic Advisor in the Student Academic Services Office. Her responsibilities include advising undergraduate students in Economics and Political Science throughout their academic career, leading summer orientation advising sessions, teaching LA&S 150, a course for students at risk for academic probation or dismissal, and assisting with website development for the academic offices in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. In addition, she coordinates the Undergraduate Scholarships and Awards offered through the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. Katiegraduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Louisville. She has been with KU as a student and employee since 2005 and with Student Academic Services since 2012.
