You may be wondering why we decided to name our undergraduate student newsletter “The College Ampersand.” Great question. We wanted this newsletter to inform students but also to serve as a resource that embodies who our students are and what makes them unique.

The College is proud to be largest and most diverse academic unit on campus, allowing our students to explore all of their interests; from anatomy to visual art. The ampersand (&) symbolizes your individuality.  You are curious and passionate. You cannot be narrowly defined by one interest.
