Braedyn McBroom

Growing up in Kansas, Braedyn has always been interested in the weather as it can sometimes be unpredictable. She chose to attend KU because she wanted to stay in her home state while also studying her passion for Atmospheric Science. Braedyn enjoys the small community that the Atmospheric Science Department offers. In addition to her studies, she is involved with her scholarship hall, a unique living experience that KU offers. She also is involved with the KU American Meteorology Society, Association for Women Geoscientists, and Good Evening KU which is a live broadcasted news show through KU's journalism school.
