Ebru Acikgoz

Originally from Turkey, Ebru decided to attend KU and study Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology because of the excellent educational experience the Undergraduate Biology Department offered. She is extremely passionate about learning about biological systems at molecular, cellular, and organismal levels, as well as understanding the natural world on a deeper level. Ebru is a Pre-Medical student and hopes to attend medical school to contribute to humanity and have a long-lasting impact on healthcare. In addition to her role as a College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Student Ambassador, Ebru is on the executive board for the International Women’s Association and is an Emerging Scholar. She dedicates her time to undergraduate research as a research assistant at the Bever/Schultz Lab.
