Maddie Souser

Maddie decided to attend KU because of its research programs and acclaimed extracurricular activities associated with the Political Science department. She also enjoyed the inviting atmosphere of Lawrence while visiting. Maddie is involved in the Debate Team, Mock Trial, American Civil Liberties Union of KU and Sorority Life. Her experience in high school government and debate solidified her decision to help others through communication and mutual aid, which set her on a pathway to a Political Science degree. Maddie hopes to combine her interest in politics, argumentation and social progress to one day work as a criminal defense attorney in the KC area.
