Readmission to the College Online
For International Students: Applications for readmission for international students are available through International Undergraduate Admissions, 785-864-2616, 45 Strong Hall. Application deadlines for international students may vary, so please plan on applying early. IMPORTANT NOTE: International students are not eligible to enroll in fully online degree programs.
For Domestic Students: Applications for readmission for domestic students are handled by the Office of Admissions.
All students are encouraged to meet with an advisor prior to enrolling and submit all transcripts for coursework you may have taken while you were away from KU. If you have questions regarding your transfer work, please read the Transfer Credit page provided by the University Registrar.
Readmission to the College Online After Dismissal Policy
Undergraduate students who have been dismissed or meet the College of Liberal Arts and Science's criteria for dismissal are subject to this policy if applying for readmission into the College Online. Students can be readmitted back to a fully online degree program after a first dismissal, but must complete the following readmission requirements:
First Dismissal:
- Sit out on Fall or Spring semester
- Complete at least one 3 credit ONLINE course transferable to a KU Core 34 Goal
- Earn a cumulative 2.50 GPA in all courses taken since dismissal
Second/Third Dismissal:
- Students applying for readmission after a second/third dismissal are not eligible for readmission to the College Online, but may be able to apply to other College of Liberal Arts and Sciences programs
